Calvados: former women’s football coach placed under formal investigation over rapes of minors | OneFootball

A man in his thirties, a former women’s football coach in Caen, has been placed under formal investigation over rapes of minors, the Caen public prosecutor said on Friday.

He was arrested on Wednesday and held in police custody.

Prosecutor Joël Garrigue said the proceedings concern three alleged victims who were aged 13 to 17 at the time of the events.

The teenagers were registered with Maladrerie Omni Sports, a club on the outskirts of Caen.

The suspect has been placed under judicial supervision.
