Successful tackles can be the game-changer in a football match. Some players have truly shone in this department during this 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Leading after the group stage, Mali's Mamadou Sangaré holds on to the top spot, but now shares it with Tanzania's Alphonce Msanga, who racked up three tackles in the round of 16 against Morocco.
Egyptian Yasser Ibrahim, Tunisia's Ali Abdi, and Benin's Hassane Imourane complete the podium, each tallying 13 tackles.
