The biggest victories in AFCON history

Senegal/@caf
In the history of the Africa Cup of Nations, high-scoring matches have been a rare spectacle.
Only three games have ended with a five-goal margin. In 1970, Ivory Coast demolished Ethiopia (6-1), and repeated the feat against Guinea in 2008 (5-0).
Guinea, for its part, thrashed Botswana (6-1) in the Zebras’ only ever tournament appearance.
Several matches have ended with a four-goal difference, including five that finished 5-1.
Here are the biggest wins in AFCON history:
Feb 10, 1970: Ivory Coast – Ethiopia (6-1)
Feb 3, 2008: Ivory Coast – Guinea (5-0)
Jan 20, 1996: Zambia – Burkina Faso (5-1)
