Canada, El Salvador, Guyana out to solidify group leads

MIAMI – The 2026 Concacaf U-17 Qualifiers continues with five Group Stage matches as Groups F, G and H play their second set of fixtures on Sunday.
Group F
Belize vs. Curaçao
Belize and Curaçao meet in Group F at Estadio Cementos Progreso in Guatemala City, Guatemala. The occasion marks the first meeting between these two teams in U-17 qualifying.
Cuba vs. El Salvador
Cuba and El Salvador meet for first place in Group F at Estadio Cementos Progreso in Guatemala City, Guatemala. It will be the fourth meeting between them in the U-17 Qualifiers.
Cuba leads the all-time series against El Salvador with two wins and one draw.
Both teams claimed wins in their opening clashes, but El Salvador currently is in command in the group due to goal differential.
Cuba defeated Curaçao 1-nil with a strike from Deibi Borrell. El Salvador secured a 3-1 comeback win over Belize, with Andrew Sorto notching all three goals for La Selecta.
Group G
Cayman Islands vs. Jamaica
The Cayman Islands face Jamaica in Group G at the Costa Rican Football Federation Field # 1 in Alajuela, Costa Rica. This will mark the second encounter between the teams in the U-17 Qualifiers.
Jamaica earned a 10-1 win in its previous meeting in 2025, a match which featured a brace from Jahmarie Nolan, who has also scored in the current edition.
Jamaica will look for its second win after its 3-nil shutout against Aruba. Goals from Kelvin Brown, Justin Hayles and Nolan led the Reggae Boyz to victory.
The Cayman Islands will look to bounce back after falling 3-nil against Canada in its opener.
Aruba vs. Canada
Aruba will play against Canada in Group F at the Costa Rican Football Federation Field # 1 in Alajuela, Costa Rica. It will be the first time the two meet in U-17 Qualifiers.
Aruba seeks its first points after falling against Jamaica in its opener. Canada enters the match as Group F leader following a 3-nil victory over the Cayman Islands to kick off its campaign. The Reds won its opener powered by a brace from Van Parker.
Group H
Guyana vs. Honduras
Guyana will play group hosts Honduras in Group H at Estadio Francisco Morazán in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
The meeting marks the second between the nations in the U-17 Qualifiers. The two last met in 2019, with Honduras winning 3-nil.
Guyana looks to defend its group lead after a 1-nil win over Bermuda. The winner for Guyana was courtesy of a great finish from Matthew Stewart.
Honduras is set to get its participation underway. Los Catrachos will aim to extend its current positive record against Caribbean rivals to seven victories, having won its past six encounters.
