HOW THE TEAM IS FEELING

"The overall feeling within the group is that we are reaping less than we are sowing, so we have to keep trying because then, in the end, the results will inevitably come. Right now, we must not confuse performance with results. It is important to continue focusing on performances, which will then lead to results."

THE GROWTH OF SCHATZER

"Eva [Schatzer] is a girl who seems older than she is, in the sense that she is very mature mentally, as well as being really intelligent, and therefore very focused on what she does. I am particularly pleased with her performances because she is always keen to improve, always positive, a girl who I am just delighted to see doing so well. It is further proof that when the decision was made to sign a player like [Lia] Walti, some people might have thought that it could be detrimental to Eva and limit her growth, but as I said some time ago, there was no guarantee that they would not be able to play together. Maybe they will again, maybe not, but now is not the time to think about that. Eva, and this is what matters, is proof that the more high-quality players there are, the more the team grows, especially the younger players."

A PHYSICAL TEST

"We're trying to recover as much energy as possible, but travelling obviously doesn't help. Playing every three days is tough enough, but playing every three days with two away games is much tougher. Sometimes you play every three days at home, sometimes you have one away game and sometimes you have two. This time we had two away matches, but that's part of the sport. There's little time to think about it, we just have to look ahead and, as I said, try to recover as much as possible, especially given Lazio are definitely the team that has caused us the most problems in my year and a half here at Juventus. They have a very clear, very precise and very organised style of play. We have a lot of respect for them, and tomorrow's match will be another very difficult one."
