Cape Verde booked a World Cup knockout place on debut after a goalless draw with Saudi Arabia in Group H.
According to BuLi News, the Blue Sharks are the first side to progress from the group stage on a debut since Slovakia in 2010.
Vozinha, 40, kept another clean sheet and Cape Verde fashioned the better chances. They finished second in the group behind Spain after three draws.
Inaugural champions Uruguay were eliminated following defeat to Spain. Goalkeeper Fernando Muslera, 39, was withdrawn at half-time after his error allowed Álex Baena to score the game's only goal.
Spain topped Group H and will face the runner-up from Group J in the Round of 32.
Cape Verde will meet holders Argentina in their first knockout tie. Uruguay became the first third-placed team to go out, ending with two points.
