Captain Lucas Da Cunha extends Como contract to 2031 | OneFootball

Lucas Da Cunha has extended his Como contract to 2031, committing the captain to the Lombardy club.

The player said in a statement that he had matured at Como on and off the pitch, finding a family before a team, and that promotion and the Champions League dream were not an end in themselves but his motivation to aim higher.

Da Cunha helped the club win promotion to Serie A in 2024. He then featured as Como secured their first ever Champions League qualification last season.

He was named captain in the summer of 2025. Under Cesc Fabregas, he made 36 Serie A appearances, 31 as a starter.

The midfielder joined Como in 2023 and is 25.
