Carioca: Allan ruled out of Flamengo v Botafogo after red card | OneFootball

Botafogo will be without Allan for the Carioca quarter-final against Flamengo after the midfielder’s red card in the Vasco derby.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the tie is scheduled for Sunday 15 at Estádio Nilton Santos, with the kick-off time still to be confirmed.

Allan was dismissed for dissent while on the bench last Sunday, meaning head coach Martín Anselmi loses a first-choice option in midfield.

Botafogo also had Marquinhos sent off against Vasco at São Januário. The midfielder received two yellow cards in the first half, so he too will miss the meeting with Flamengo.

Before that quarter-final, Flamengo return to Brasileirão action on Tuesday 10, visiting Vitória at Barradão, with kick-off at 21:30 Brasília time.
