Carlinhos ‘to remain’ on loan at Remo after Flamengo refusal | OneFootball

Remo sought to return on-loan forward Carlinhos after losing to Flamengo on Thursday 19. Flamengo then said they would not take him back, leaving the player in limbo.

According to RTI Esportes, despite a valid agreement, Flamengo told Remo and the 29-year-old they did not wish to reintegrate him. With no deal reached, he will remain on loan at the club from the Pará capital.

Carlinhos joined Flamengo in 2024 under president Rodolfo Landim and football director Marcos Braz. He did not get chances under Filipe Luís and was loaned to Vitória.

He failed to secure a run at Vitória and returned to Flamengo. He was then sent to Remo.

Flamengo, who still hold his rights, are focused on their next assignment. They face Corinthians on Sunday 22 at 20h30, Brasília time, in São Paulo in the eighth round of the Brasileirão.
