Carlo Ancelotti names Brazil’s 2026 World Cup squad as Neymar included | OneFootball

Carlo Ancelotti has named Brazil’s 2026 World Cup squad, with Neymar selected for what will be his fourth tournament. According to Globo.com, it is the forward’s first call-up under the Italian coach.

Goalkeepers: Alisson (Liverpool), Ederson (Fenerbahçe) and Weverton (Grêmio). Defenders: Alex Sandro (Flamengo), Bremer (Juventus), Danilo (Flamengo), Douglas Santos (Zenit), Gabriel Magalhães (Arsenal), Ibañez (Al-Ahli), Léo Pereira (Flamengo), Marquinhos (PSG) and Wesley (Roma).

Midfielders: Bruno Guimarães (Newcastle), Casemiro (Manchester United), Danilo Santos (Botafogo), Fabinho (Al-Ittihad) and Lucas Paquetá (Flamengo). Forwards: Endrick (Lyon), Gabriel Martinelli (Arsenal), Igor Thiago (Brentford), Luiz Henrique (Zenit), Matheus Cunha (Manchester United), Neymar (Santos), Raphinha (Barcelona), Rayan (Bournemouth) and Vini Jr. (Real Madrid).

Weverton is another to receive a first chance under Ancelotti, and does so in the final squad. The notable omission is João Pedro of Chelsea, previously picked in three of the Italian’s five call-ups.

The squad will gather on Wednesday 27 at Granja Comary in Teresópolis to begin preparations. The last to arrive will be those involved in the Champions League final between PSG and Arsenal on 30 in Budapest.

Brazil face Panama at the Maracanã on 31, a farewell on home soil. The following day the delegation travel to the United States, with a final friendly against Egypt in Cleveland on 6 June.

The World Cup opener is on 13 June at 19:00 Brasília time against Morocco in New Jersey. Brazil then meet Haiti on 19 at 21:30 in Philadelphia, before closing the group against Scotland on 24 at 19:00 in Miami.
