Carlos Segura has left CD Castellón, joining Gimnàstic de Tarragona in a permanent deal after scoring 19 goals in Segunda RFEF.
The club said in a statement that CD Castellón and Nàstic de Tarragona have reached an agreement for the transfer of the 2003-born forward.
Segura spent two seasons with CD Castellón B. He hit 16 goals in his first campaign in Tercera RFEF, helping the reserves win promotion, then improved to 19 in Segunda RFEF this term.
He made his first-team debut in the Copa del Rey against Atlético Antoniano. Castellón thanked him for his commitment over two years and wished him well at Nàstic.
Born in Onda in 2003, he developed at Villarreal, alternating with Roda, and reached Villarreal C. He also featured for Villafamés, Primer Toque and Club La Vall.
Segura had renewed with Castellón until 30 June 2027 earlier this year, and the club retain a buy-back option plus a sell-on percentage on any future Nàstic sale. He has signed a three-year contract with the Tarragona side.
