Corinthians completed preparations to face Cruzeiro in the Campeonato Brasileiro, with André Carrillo stressing home form and the need for focus at Neo Química Arena.
"Playing at home is always important. We know we are in a good moment and the team is better. We will go in search of three points as we are used to. Cruzeiro have quality players and an experienced side, we must stay alert and give nothing away because at home we are very strong," he told Corinthians TV.
Corinthians play on Sunday with a Libertadores decider looming. On Thursday, 20th, they host Rosario Central in the last 16 second leg after a 0-0 first leg.
With that in mind, there is an expectation Fernando Diniz will field a mixed side on Sunday. He remains without Yuri Alberto and André due to hamstring injuries, while Pedro Raul is a doubt after a rib knock in the first game against Rosario Central.
In the league, Corinthians sit eighth on 32 points. Victory on Sunday could take them into the G5, depending on other results.
