Barcelona will face off against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium this Sunday afternoon as they hope to secure a good result on the road in La Liga. The Catalan club managed to secure a dominant 6-1 win over Olympiacos earlier this week, which should give them a ton of confidence ahead of this Clasico.

Hansi Flick will set his men up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make one change to his first XI for this game. Marc Casado could play from the start of this clash, while Dro Fernandez makes way for him and drops to the bench.

Defence

Wojciech Szczesny will feature in between the sticks for the Catalan club after conceding one goal in his last outing. Pau Cubarsi will function alongside Eric Garcia at the centre of the Barcelona backline as they look to keep things solid at the back during the game.

Jules Kounde will try to prove his worth as the right-back, while Alejandro Balde hopes to give a good account of himself on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Ronald Araujo will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Flick could opt for a midfield three of Pedri, Frenkie de Jong and Marc Casado as they focus on winning the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park. All three of them need to move the ball well if they want to create some decent chances in the final third.

Marc Bernal will have to settle for a spot on the bench as he waits for his chance to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Marcus Rashford will get a chance to impress as the left-winger, while Lamine Yamal looks to catch the eye on the right flank. Both of them would try to get in behind the Real Madrid backline at every chance they get.

Fermin Lopez will lead the charge for Barca down the middle. He would be eager to get his name on the scoresheet after scoring a hat-trick against Olympiacos recently.

Ferran Torres, Dro Fernandez and Roony Bardghji will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the latter stages if required.
