Manchester United entertained Brentford at Old Trafford earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a decent start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 11th minute thanks to Casemiro’s solid header. Benjamin Sesko doubled his side’s advantage in the 43rd minute as Man United went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.

Mathias Jensen scored a consolation goal for the Bees in the 87th minute as Michael Carrick’s men ended up securing a hard-fought 2-1 win at the Theatre of Dreams.

LB: Luke Shaw – 7/10

Shaw gave a good account of himself defensively but was toothless in the final third.

CM: Casemiro – 9/10

He anchored the midfield with conviction and managed to score the opener with a good finish in the 11th minute.

CM: Kobbie Mainoo – 7.5/10

Mainoo was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch.

RW: Amad Diallo – 6.5/10

He came back to defend when needed and was not shy of having a strike at goal. Diallo was replaced at half-time.

CAM: Bruno Fernandes – 7.5/10

Fernandes created a few decent chances for others around him and ended the game with an assist to his name.

He made two inviting chances in the final third.

ST: Benjamin Sesko – 7.5/10

Sesko was a constant menace in the final third and was replaced in the 87th minute.
