Kerstin Casparij has called for her City team-mates to move our attentions towards Friday’s clash with Leicester after a narrow WSL defeat to Arsenal.
Olivia Smith’s first half strike proved the difference at the Emirates Stadium, as the Blues’ 13-match winning run came to an end with a 1-0 defeat.
City remain eight points clear at the top of the WSL with seven games remaining and can return to winning ways against Leicester in Friday’s 19:00 (UK) kick-off.
Casparij admits that setbacks are part and parcel of top-level football and is keen to put things right at the Joie Stadium on Friday evening.

“We just need to be positive and switch onto the next game,” our defender said.
“Each game’s different, we had a great one last weekend and this weekend we lose.
“That’s part of the game, and the beautiful part of it as well.
“We have to stick to our goal, be comfortable with being uncomfortable sometimes and not let this rattle us going into next week.”
City pushed until the end but were restricted to just one shot on target at the Emirates Stadium and failed to score for the first time this season.
And Casparij praised Arsenal for the ways in which they limited us on the day.
She said: “It’s only our second loss of the season which is really tough. Arsenal did a good job exposing us in certain areas.
“We struggled especially in the first half, did better in the second half but these games are part of the job as well.
“We have a quick turnaround to Friday, so we’ll get home, watch it back tomorrow and then onto Friday.”
