Castellón B back in training after virus, postponed Torrent match set for 1 April | OneFootball

CD Castellón B have returned to routine after the contagious flu that sidelined several players and forced their weekend postponement. According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, the Real Federación Española de Fútbol has rearranged the game for Wednesday 1 April 2026 at 20.00, at San Gregorio.

The Torrent CF v CD Castellón B fixture set for Sunday 22 March 2026 at 12.00 was called off at 1.02 that morning, a late decision that frustrated the hosts.

Óscar López’s side trained on Wednesday on pitch B at the Gaetà Huguet complex with 23 players, including youth-team pair Alejandro Anes and Julián Rodríguez.

Ismael Fadel and Isi Angulo were absent, and may spend a second week working with the first team under Pablo Hernández. Youth players Óscar Albiol and Fran Santamaría were also missing.

Castellón B had wanted to play as soon as possible to stay on schedule in Group three of Segunda Federación. They are three points from the play-out place and five from direct relegation.
