Castellón’s four Tercera Federación Group VI sides have begun pre-season with stability in the dugouts, all retaining their head coaches. The 2026/27 league is due to start on 6 September.

According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, the clubs have mapped out demanding schedules and strengthened their squads. Plans focus on reaching the opening day in good physical and tactical condition.

These weeks will be used to blend signings, polish automatisms and assess adaptation. Friendlies will distribute minutes and test variations before competitive action. It remains too early to draw conclusions.

At Villarreal C, David Cifuentes enters a second season in charge of a very young, largely renewed C team. He will look to match last term, when they reached the play-offs.

Carlos Ortí continues for a second year at CD Soneja. The Alto Palancia club have notably reinforced to consolidate in the division and seek a step forward in the table.

CD Roda’s Miguel Ángel Muñoz starts a third season, having already overseen 67 matches. His task is to manage a refreshed dressing room while maintaining the identity that kept the team near the top in recent campaigns.

José Manuel Descalzo begins a fourth year with UD Vall de Uxó. He starts on 94 official matches and will pass 100 during the campaign, underlining the faith placed in his work.
