Fluminense have signed Rodrigo Castillo, the striker who hit two against Flamengo for Lanús in the Recopa Sudamericana, and he says scoring against them again would be lovely.
According to Coluna Do Fla, he was unveiled on Tuesday night and the presentation video replayed those two goals against Flamengo.
The first arrived in Argentina, a towering header between Léo Ortiz and Léo Pereira. The second came at the Maracanã after a mistake involving Ayrton Lucas and Agustín Rossi. Those goals proved decisive as Lanús took the title in extra time after a 2-2 aggregate draw.
Castillo said he is very happy to join the club, calling the Brasileirão a dream and a major step in his career. He wants to repay the faith shown by the staff on the pitch.
He stopped short of a guarantee, but said it would be great to add more goals against Flamengo in Fluminense colours and that he will work for it. Describing himself as a number nine who likes to drop and link play, he also enjoys attacking the box and believes that blend brought him here. He hopes to deliver many goals for the club.
The debut could come immediately against Flamengo in the Campeonato Carioca final on Sunday at the Maracanã, subject to registration. Kick-off is 18:00 Brasília time.
