The two clubs will meet at Hampden on Sunday, April 20, with a spot in May’s final at stake.
Tickets were released on sale for Celtic supporters at 10:00 yesterday morning and are eligible to all HCTS holders who attended the previous rounds. Until now, there has been limited information about ticketing for the match, but St Johnstone CEO Francis Smith offered some clarity around the confusing situation.
On ‘X’ Smith outlined that the ‘hold up’ in info is that it was down to the Scottish FA and that further details will be provided by next week.

He said: “[The] hold up on the semi is due to ticketing from [the]SFA. We have the details now, and they are with our ticket provider to set up, so we hope by the start of next week at the latest on the semi.”
Despite the tickets being released yesterday, it is still unclear how the Hampden seating allocation will be divided between Celtic and St Johnstone for the encounter.
Celtic and St Johnstone last faced each other at Hampden in 2021, when a second-half strike courtesy of James Forrest secured a 1-0 League Cup semi-final win for Ange Postecoglou’s side.

The Hoops went on to claim a double that season, but Brendan Rodgers has remained firm in his ambition for his squad to achieve a domestic treble this campaign.
Celtic’s pursuit of a treble continues this afternoon with a Scottish Premiership clash against Neil Critchley’s Hearts in Glasgow’s east end.
