CBF releases VAR analysis of validated Palmeiras goal against Fortaleza | OneFootball

CBF has released the VAR analysis of Palmeiras' third goal, validated after review in a 3-0 first-leg win over Fortaleza at Nubank Parque on Sunday 2.

The tie is in the Copa do Brasil last 16, and the hosts' goals came from Mauricio, Arias and Flaco López.

On the pitch, the assistant initially flagged a possible offside on the final strike, then, after a check, the decision was corrected and the goal stood.

The result means Palmeiras can lose by up to two goals and still reach the quarter-finals. If the aggregate is level, the tie will be settled on penalties.
