The CBF will stage the Copa do Brasil fifth-phase draw in Rio de Janeiro on Monday 23, with Flamengo awaiting their first opponents as they chase a sixth crown.
According to Coluna Do Fla, its live stream begins at 13:30 Brasília time, covering the draw rules, analysis and potential rivals for Flamengo.
First legs are set for 22 or 23 April, with the return games on 13 or 14 May. Other midweeks in those months are taken by the Copa Libertadores, which has six rounds.
Flamengo will receive R$ two million for playing the fifth phase, rising to R$ three million if they advance. The round of 16 is scheduled only after the World Cup, on one or two August and five or six August.
This edition has expanded to 126 clubs from 92. The first four phases were one-off ties, from the fifth there are two legs. The 2026 final will be a single match.
In 2026 the CBF will distribute about R$ 500 million to participating clubs. The champions could earn up to R$ 99.25 million, including R$ 78 million for the title.
Flamengo have won the Copa do Brasil five times, first in 1990 after beating Goiás. Their most recent triumph came in 2024 under Filipe Luís against Atlético-MG.
