CD Castellón have signed Hamza Bellari on a deal to June 2029, adding a dribbler to their attack. The Moroccan, 23, joins on a three-year contract announced this afternoon.

El Periódico Mediterráneo reports that Castellón will pay 125,000 euros for the winger, with additional bonuses tied to a possible promotion. With one year left on his Valencia contract, a transfer fee was required.

Bellari spent last season on loan at Eldense, scoring five goals in 37 appearances across league and cup, 17 of them starts. He had been bought by Valencia from Nàstic after impressing during a loan at Orihuela.

Born in Nador in 2003, he is left-footed and usually operates from the right, cutting inside. He can also play centrally, delivers set pieces well and thrives in the one-on-one, both in tight spaces and at full tilt.

Those traits saw him edge towards Valencia’s first team under Carlos Corberán, though he did not make his debut. He now aims to find the consistency that has eluded him, while earlier on Wednesday Castellón also confirmed midfielder Jari Vlak.
