CD Castellón to open LaLiga Hypermotion in San Sebastián, fixtures set for first three rounds | OneFootball

CD Castellón will kick off the 2026/27 LaLiga Hypermotion away to Real Sociedad B in San Sebastián on Friday 14 August at 20.30.

According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, Pablo Hernández’s side begin with their first official outing of the season, an appealing trip for travelling albinegro supporters.

Castellón then have nine days to prepare for their home debut at SkyFi Castalia against newly promoted Sabadell on Sunday 23 August at 19.00.

Matchday three takes them to Vigo to face Celta Fortuna, another B team, on Monday 31 August at 21.30. That fixture will close the round and mark the season’s first Monday night.

The opening run therefore pits Castellón against sides whose primary target will be survival, Real Sociedad B and Celta Fortuna plus Sabadell. Fresh from reaching the play-offs, Hernández’s team aim to keep building an ambitious project, and the first three fixtures now have confirmed dates and kick-off times.
