Cebolinha heads fifth as Royal cross caps Flamengo rout | OneFootball

Everton Cebolinha headed Flamengo’s fifth in a 5-1 win over Sampaio Corrêa, capping a dominant display.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the Rio side showed no mercy in the last round of the Campeonato Carioca group stage.

Cebolinha began on the bench, then came on for Lucas Paquetá.

Not long after his introduction, he met an Emerson Royal cross and steered a firm header past the keeper on 25 minutes of the second half.

The finish underlined Flamengo’s control as they closed out their group campaign.
