Brazil’s domestic market is stirring, with 15 Série A players still under the 12-match cap and therefore eligible to change clubs. The window opens on 20 July, the day after the World Cup final, and arrivals would only be available from then.
According to Globo.com, Hulk of Atlético-MG and Alexander Barboza of Botafogo are close to Fluminense and Palmeiras respectively. Hulk skipped the last match after reaching 12 league outings, the maximum before a same-season switch.
Headline names include Everton Cebolinha of Flamengo on seven, Gustavo Scarpa of Atlético-MG on 10, and Ganso of Fluminense on 12. Cebolinha is unlikely to renew at year’s end. Scarpa is not a regular starter and Ganso is used in rotation.
Walace of Cruzeiro has one, trains apart after a messaging row, and is discussing his future. Gilberto of Bahia has five and sits behind Román Gómez and Acevedo. Keno of Coritiba has four, on loan from Fluminense and yet to register a goal or assist.
Igor Rabello of Fluminense has two and has slipped down the order after Jemmes and Julián Millán arrived. André Silva of São Paulo has seven without a goal this season. Team-mate Arboleda has six and is out of the club’s plans.
At Corinthians, André Ramalho has four after Gabriel Paulista’s arrival. Botafogo’s Joaquín Correa has four, his high point a 2-2 with Santos in 2025 when he scored both. Cruzeiro’s Chico da Costa has six and only one league start.
Mayke of Santos has two and is recovering after a knee procedure. Igor Gomes of Atlético-MG has five and is out of favour. Fluminense’s Germán Cano has two, sidelined by a grade two rectus femoris injury, and Gomes and Cano are contracted until 2026.
