Celta de Vigo ‘to move for’ André Almeida if Ilaix Moriba departs | OneFootball

According to NòsDiario, Celta de Vigo would be keen on André Almeida if Ilaix Moriba leaves this summer, viewing him as a fit who knows LaLiga and whose valuation is close to a fee Valencia would accept.

The Valencia midfielder has slipped in Carlos Corberán's plans and is open to a move after four seasons at Mestalla.

Valencia have already confirmed Justin de Haas and Aliou Dieng, with Ryunosuke Sato awaiting signature. Further signings depend on outgoing deals.

Almeida joined Valencia on 25 August 2022 from Vitória Guimarães for eight million euros.

He has not fully convinced at Mestalla, and the club would look to recoup part of that outlay.

That same summer, Moriba returned to Valencia on a second loan spell. Also made official were the purchase of Hugo Duro, free transfers for Edinson Cavani and Samu Castillejo, and loans for Cenk Özkacar, Nico González, Justin Kluivert and Samuel Lino.
