Celtic FC Foundation participants enjoy unforgettable Play on the Pitch experience at Celtic Park | OneFootball

Participants from a number of Celtic FC Foundation projects recently enjoyed a truly unforgettable experience as they took part in a special Play on the Pitch event at Celtic Park.

Special thanks to Dafabet for providing Celtic FC Foundation with the opportunity to host this unforgettable Play on the Pitch experience for our participants.

Representatives from Dementia Care: Lions’ Lunch Breaks, Ability Counts, CashBack: Gateway to Opportunities, Paradise Pit Stop, Paradise Recovery Café, Gateway to Health and Opportunities and Parkinson’s Walking Football were all invited along for a unique opportunity to follow in the footsteps of their Celtic heroes.

Participants enjoyed the full matchday experience, from pulling on the famous Hoops and preparing in the dressing rooms to stepping out on to the Celtic Park pitch.

In true Celtic fashion, participants gathered for a pre-match Huddle before kick-off, embracing the spirit and traditions of the club.

The match itself proved to be a fantastic spectacle, with participants of all ages enjoying every moment. There were plenty of goals, celebrations and smiles throughout the game.

Following full-time, the excitement continued with a penalty shootout before everyone came together in the Jock Stein Lounge to enjoy food and refreshments while reflecting on a truly special day.
