Celtic are reportedly interested in a deal to sign Manchester United goalkeeper Radek Vitek. The Czech stopper spent last year on loan at Bristol City and impressed in the English Championship.
According to transfer journalist Pete O’Rourke, Celtic are interested in signing the 22-year-old. Celtic are in the market for a new goalie to compete with Vil Sinisalo after Kasper Schmeichel hung up his gloves in the summer.

The Old Trafford side have Vitek under contract until 2028 but they might be willing to sanction a permanent move for the goalkeeper.
Michael Carrick’s side have Belgian goalie Senne Lammens and they’re expected to add Karl Darlow as their third goalkeeper. Reports have indicated that Vitek will be available to leave either on a transfer or a loan deal.
Sinisalo has been given the No.1 jersey after Schmeichel was forced to retire. It had been expected that Celtic would add a further goalkeeper to the squad but that the Finnish keeper would become the first pick goalkeeper.
Celtic have quite a bit of business to do this summer and have only added Duran from Qarabag so far. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain signed a new deal but there’s no developments in terms of approaches to bring Kelechi Iheanacho or Marcelo Saracchi back beyond that the club are in talks with their agents.
