Celtic sign Bournemouth defender on loan | OneFootball

Celtic have announced the signing of Julián Araujo on loan from Bournemouth until the end of the season.

The 24-year-old is expected to go straight into the squad for Saturday's derby against Rangers.

Araujo was previously on the books at Barcelona and spent time on loan at Las Palmas before joining the Cherries in the summer of 2024.

The Hoops were in need of depth at right wing-back due to Alastair Johnston's injury troubles.

Araujo, who was born in the USA, has been capped 16 times by Mexico at international level.
