Celtic ‘to finalise’ loan with option to buy for Tomáš Čvančara | OneFootball

Celtic are in advanced negotiations with Borussia Mönchengladbach over a deal for Tomáš Čvančara, with personal terms agreed, according to Sky Germany.

Talks are now on final details between the clubs, and the move is set to be a loan with an option to buy.

Čvančara’s spell at Süper Lig side Antalyaspor in Türkiye was unsuccessful, he returned to Gladbach and failed to convince Eugen Polanski.

At the start of January, the Foals excused the 25-year-old from a team training session to explore clubs willing to sign him.

He has made 54 appearances for Gladbach in the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal, scoring 8 and providing 2 assists.

Čvančara and his agent David Nehoda have flown to Glasgow for a medical, with an official announcement on Thursday.
