Chancel Mbemba joins Gaëtan Laborde and Georges-Kévin Nkoudou at Al-Diraiyah | OneFootball

Chancel Mbemba has signed for Al-Diraiyah, newly promoted to the Saudi Pro League.

According to L'Équipe, the DR Congo centre-back moves on a free after his Lille contract expired this summer.

Aged 31 and capped 111 times by his country, he pauses his European career following a final season in northern France.

Al-Diraiyah are coached by Portuguese manager Bruno Lage, with the club preparing to make their bow in the Saudi top flight.

Mbemba will link up with Gaëtan Laborde, who arrived last summer, and Georges-Kévin Nkoudou, previously of Nantes, Marseille and Monaco.
