Maghreb Foot reports that Sunderland and Premier League newcomers Hull City have been warned that Charleroi will hold off on decisions over Yacine Titraoui until after the World Cup, with his price potentially rising during the tournament.
Both clubs are described as very interested in the Charleroi midfielder, who is set to face Jordan, Austria and Argentina over the next three weeks at the World Cup with Algeria.
Sunderland are finalising their summer plans as they look to strengthen Regis Le Bris’ squad. The former Lorient boss led the club into European competition for only the second time in their history.
The report added that Titraoui impressed in Belgium last season and that he dreams of playing in the Premier League, with no desire to move elsewhere.
If he impresses for Algeria, his market value could rise sharply, with the Belgian club aiming to secure the best possible fee.
