FLW's Charlton fan pundit shares their thoughts on who they would like the club to sign this summer as priority
Charlton Athletic waved away any threats of relegation back to League One in the final weeks of the season, despite one or two nervous looks over their shoulder, and will officially be playing Championship football once again next campaign.
Nathan Jones has done an excellent job at guiding Charlton back to the Championship and cementing their place in the second tier for another year.
A lot of their summer business, namely Charlie Kelman, Thomas Kaminski, Rob Apter, and Tanto Olaofe, were brought in for multi-million-pound deals, and failed to make the desired impact, with the latter two heading back to League One on loan in January.
Despite this, Jones has managed to keep the Addicks up, finishing six points ahead of the drop, and the Welshman will be keen to ensure that any threat of relegation next time around is minimised as much as possible.
The upcoming transfer window presents a chance for the Addicks to iron out areas of weakness by adding some much-needed quality, as Football League World Charlton fan pundit, Chris, has outlined an out-of-favour Wrexham attacker as a priority piece of business this summer.

Davis Keillor-Dunn made the move from League One Barnsley to Championship Wrexham late in the January window to add a different option to Phil Parkinson's attack.
With 35 goals and six assists in 78 appearances across all competitions in one-and-a-half years at Oakwell, Keillor-Dunn, 28, jumped ship for North Wales in January 2026, hoping to join the Hollywood express train.
However, with less than 90 minutes of football across all competitions since his January move to the Racecourse Ground, the forward could well be on his way out this summer, and a switch to Charlton could make a great deal of sense for player and club.
Football League World's Charlton fan pundit, Chris, has shared their thoughts on who they would like the Addicks to realistically sign as a priority this summer, saying: "Personally, I'd be very interested to test Wrexham's resolve and look at trying to agree a loan move for Davis Keillor-Dunn.
"Charlton lacked a lot in the midfield and in the front line last season, with very few players having the technical ability Davis Keillor-Dunn possesses. He's versatile, being able to play up top or in a No. 10 position, which is always a positive, and you'd think he'd be available due to his lack of game time at Wrexham.
"We also had tremendous success with bringing Coady in on loan from Wrexham previously, which both clubs may also take into consideration.
"Davis Keillor-Dunn was one of the best players in League One over the last two years, and in my opinion, the best opposition player we faced at The Valley during our promotion season.
"He would improve our team, offering us something different to what we have, as well as his versatility, not demanding an outrageous fee, and hopefully, other clubs may overlook him due to his lack of game time at Wrexham.

The area where Charlton lacked the most this season was evidently up top, with only Blackburn Rovers and Sheffield Wednesday scoring fewer than their 44 league goals across the campaign.
Sonny Carey notched eight and finished as the club's top scorer, whilst Kelman managed seven, and a few players, including Harvey Knibbs, Tyreece Campbell, and January arrival Lyndon Dykes managed three each.
Miles Leaburn struggled to make the jump to the second tier, whilst Matty Godden spent the bulk of the season out with an injury.
The final third positions will be an area which desperately needs addressing heading into the summer window, and Keillor-Dunn would be an excellent option.
Entering the prime of his career, likely available for relatively cheap, and versatile, he fits the bill for what Jones would require from a forward, and Charlton should be looking to get this deal over the line as soon as possible.
