Charlton Athletic midfielder Ross signs new deal | OneFootball

Charlton Athletic midfielder Mia Ross has signed a new contract with the club.

The Addicks announced the news via a post on their official club website earlier today.

It has been reported that the 21-year-old has signed a new one-year deal at The Valley with the option of an additional year.

Ross joined Charlton Athletic from Liverpool in summer 2021. The youngster quickly adapted to life in South East London and has established herself as an important first team player. Ross has gone on to make 71 appearances for Charlton Athletic while she has scored four goals. The midfielder has helped The Addicks transition to being a full-time professional operation whilst pushing for promotion to the Barclays Women’s Super League in the process.

After opting to extend her contract with Charlton Athletic, Ross said “I am buzzing to be back. It is something I have waited a really long time for but something I know I am definitely ready for. It’s been really nice to back involved with the girls.”

Ross is the latest in a long line of Charlton Athletic players to sign a new deal with the club this summer. Jodie Hutton, Gloria Siber, Karin Muya, Elisha N’Dow, Kiera Skeels and Charlotte Newsham have also put pen to paper in recent days.
