ChatGPT has mapped out the final 2026-27 Premier League table and points, with backing for Leeds United and a relegation shock. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the forecast lands as the Whites prepare for a second campaign back in the top flight.
Leeds and Sunderland avoided the usual newly promoted drop in 2025-26, Leeds finishing 14th and eight points clear of danger, Sunderland taking seventh and a Europa League berth. Burnley were relegated with rock-bottom Wolves and, on the final day, West Ham, while fourth-bottom Tottenham survived.
Championship champions Coventry City, runners-up Ipswich Town and play-off winners Hull City now step up for 2026-27. Leeds chairman Paraag Marathe has warned how demanding a club’s second season back can be.
Leeds also ended last season above Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest, only two points behind Everton and Newcastle United.
The model places Arsenal first on 88 points, describing them as defending champions and narrow favourites. Manchester City are second on 85, Manchester United third on 80, Chelsea fourth on 76, Liverpool fifth on 73 and Newcastle United sixth on 69, with City, United and Liverpool all viewed as capable of challenging.
