Chelsea and Arsenal name EFL Cup semi-final XIs | OneFootball

The starting line-ups are in for the second EFL Cup semi-final between Chelsea and Arsenal.

The first leg takes place at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night following Manchester City's 2-0 win at Newcastle yesterday.

In Liam Rosenior's first big game at the helm, Malo Gusto misses out through injury as Josh Achemapong starts and Estevão and Marc Guiu are also handed opportunities to impress.

The Gunners are aiming to end a four-game semi-final losing streak and William Saliba has passed a late fitness test to take his place in an somewhat injury-hit Gunners defence, as does Leandro Trossard.

Chelsea: Sánchez; Acheampong, Fofana, Chalobah, Cucurella; Enzo, Santos; Estevão, João Pedro, Neto; Guiu.

Arsenal: Kepa; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Timber; Zubimendi, Rice, Ødegaard; Saka, Gyökeres, Trossard.
