In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Chelsea are ready to move in for Bournemouth star Antoine Semenyo. It has been claimed that the Blues are preparing to launch a €90m offer to acquire the services of the Ghanaian winger next year.
Semenyo has made a good start to this campaign as he has produced a series of impressive displays for the Cherries in the final third. The 25-year-old has found the back of the net six times and grabbed three assists in eight appearances for Bournemouth this season across all fronts.
The London-born talent gave a good account of himself on the right flank and deserves a ton of credit for averaging 2.29 shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League. He has kept 50% of his attempts on target. However, Semenyo needs to improve his link-up play in the opposition half after making just 67.1% of his attempted passes in top-flight football (stats via fbref.com).
His current contract at the Vitality Stadium will run out in the summer of 2030, which could make it tough for the Blues to sign him on a cut-price deal next year.

Semenyo is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and has got the vision to engineer a few promising chances for his teammates in the final third.
The Ghanaian talent can strike the ball with venom from long range. He is primarily a right-winger but can also play as a left-sided wide player or as a striker down the middle if asked to do so by his manager.
We can expect Semenyo to bring more quality and depth to Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca’s attack. He has what it takes to earn a regular first-team spot at the West London club in the coming seasons.
At 25, Semenyo has his best years ahead of him, which makes him a good choice for the Blues to consider this January or at the end of this campaign. He already knows the Premier League well and won’t take much time to adjust to life at Stamford Bridge. With all things considered, Maresca should focus on trying everything in his power to land him in 2026.
