Chelsea have accelerated efforts to seal the signing of Juventus’ Kenan Yildiz, according to an exclusive report from CaughtOffside. Yet, despite their push, the race for the Turkish starlet is far from straightforward.
Chelsea, whose current ownership have heavily invested in young elite talents, now appear determined to make Yildiz a centrepiece of their future. CaughtOffside revealed that “Chelsea now look to be pushing hardest to sign Yildiz, though Juventus don’t want to let the talented young Turkey international leave.”
Juventus have slapped a staggering €100m valuation on Yildiz, who is “on the radar of other top Premier League clubs such as Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Manchester City.” With Champions League qualification in the balance for Juventus, several clubs are monitoring developments closely.
Despite no formal signal from Yildiz about leaving Turin, uncertainty over Juve’s future could open the door. “Yildiz has not signalled any intention to leave Juventus, but clubs have been exploring his situation in case the Turin outfit miss out on Champions League qualification.”
Kenan Yildiz would not come cheap, but he “could be the face of the Chelsea project,” a symbol of the Blues’ aggressive youth-driven rebuild. Chelsea “clearly face a battle to bring in Yildiz, but it makes sense that he’s one of their priorities as he could be ideal to really help launch this Blues project.”

However, doubts remain. While Chelsea’s ownership group has “prioritised bringing in elite young players,” genuine success on the pitch has remained elusive.
Still, “Yildiz… would be a statement signing who could take this team to another level for many years to come.”
Although Chelsea are frontrunners, Liverpool and Arsenal offer compelling alternatives. “The 19-year-old could also be ideal for clubs like Liverpool and Arsenal right now, and he may well find them more tempting destinations.”
Arsenal seek attacking depth to support Bukayo Saka, and “Yildiz could be an ideal upgrade on the inconsistent Gabriel Martinelli.”
Liverpool, under Arne Slot, are also an intriguing proposition. “Liverpool, meanwhile, might do well to think about someone like Yildiz as an alternative to Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo, who haven’t been that convincing in recent times, while Diogo Jota has also been rather injury prone during his time at Anfield.”
Should Champions League ambitions falter at Stamford Bridge, Liverpool or Arsenal might yet snatch this emerging talent from Chelsea’s grasp.

From a Liverpool fan’s perspective, this potential move is genuinely exciting. Under Arne Slot’s progressive and attacking system, a player like Kenan Yildiz could absolutely thrive. Given that Luis Díaz and Cody Gakpo have lacked consistency, and Diogo Jota’s injury struggles continue to haunt Anfield, fresh blood is sorely needed.
If Liverpool manage to outmanoeuvre Chelsea for Yildiz, it would send a huge statement. The thought of a dynamic, creative 19-year-old being moulded into a Premier League star at Anfield is mouth-watering. Yildiz’s technical quality and versatility would provide the depth Liverpool desperately need, while also future-proofing the squad.
At €100m, it’s a heavy investment — but compared to what Liverpool might have to spend on two or three different attacking reinforcements, it could actually be a smart long-term move. Slot’s system demands players who are fearless, dynamic, and hungry — and Yildiz fits that profile perfectly.
Chelsea’s current instability could work in Liverpool’s favour. If Yildiz prioritises Champions League football and the chance to play under a coach focused on youth development, Liverpool could be the perfect landing spot. The battle is on, and for Liverpool supporters, the hope is this is one fight the Reds are determined to win.
