Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca defended goalkeeper Robert Sanchez after he dropped his latest clanger against Wolverhampton Wanderers last night.
Sanchez has made four errors that have directly led to goals in the Premier League this season – he is guaranteed to make more.
Maresca insisted after the game that Sanchez is ‘doing well’, and his public support for the goalkeeper is admirable.
However, based on the collective evidence of Sanchez’s performances since he joined Chelsea, he is an accident waiting to happen.
