Chelsea in transfer race with Leeds & Bournemouth for Nottingham Forest outcast James McAtee | OneFootball

Chelsea are among five Premier League clubs to have checked on James McAtee’s situation at Nottingham Forest, per the Daily Mail. 

The 23-year-old left Manchester City to join Forest last summer for £30 million. 

The move has not gone to plan, with McAtee struggling for regular game time. However, manager Sean Dyche is an admirer of McAtee and believes he has a bright future at the club. 

His situation at Forest has alerted several Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, Leeds United, Bournemouth, Fulham and Sunderland. 

Chelsea are well stocked in attack, but they are constantly exploring opportunities in the market. 

Manager Enzo Maresca rates the England Under-21 international, having worked with him at Man City. 

Leeds are in the market for an attacking midfielder and believe McAtee is an ideal option for them. 

Bournemouth are set to lose Antoine Semenyo to City this winter, as they are powerless to stop him from leaving due to the £65 million release clause in his contract. 

The Cherries are already preparing for Semenyo’s exit and want to bring McAtee on loan to the Vitality Stadium. Fulham and Sunderland are also pondering a loan move.
