Chelsea are said to be targeting transfer moves for two French youngsters.

The Athletic report that Rennes centre-back Jeremy Jacquet, 20, and Saint-Etienne forward Djylian N’Guessan, 17, are both on their radar.

However, they are said to be focused on outgoings in January, with Axel Disasi, Raheem Sterling and Tyrique George all set to be allowed to leave, the Athletic say.

Goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen also wants a move to get more first-team football, but Chelsea do not want to change their options in that position.

Elsewhere, Manchester United are said to be “paying close attention to James Garner’s situation at Everton”, according to the Mail.

They say Garner is a name that is rising up United’s list as they explore a potential midfield addition next month.

The Toffees midfielder is entering the last six months of his contract and could be available in a cut-price deal, though the club are keen to tie him down to a new deal.

Meanwhile, Gazzetta dello Sport say Juventus are keen on a move for Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali.

TalkSport claim Fulham and Crystal Palace are among the clubs interested in a deal for Man City youngster Oscar Bobb.

And they also say Premier League struggles Wolves are keen on a deal for Nashville striker Sam Surridge.
