Disasi didn’t play any first team football over the first half of the season after failing to secure a move away from Stamford Bridge last summer, but did appear for the under-21s.
The Frenchman did train with the first team on a few occasions, but finally secured a move away during the January window.
Disasi joined West Ham on loan for the remainder of the season, with the Hammers currently embroiled in a relegation scrap.
The 27-year-old has played 90 minutes in each of West Ham’s last five Premier League games, and they are now just two points from safety with nine games to play.
Disasi has put in some impressive performances at West Ham, and team-mate Diouf can’t believe he wasn’t playing at Chelsea.
“It was crazy he stayed for such a long time and he didn’t play, but when he came here, he showed that he’s a machine!”
The Blues look set to have an overhaul in the centre back department over the summer, and they are said to be in the market for a new centre back.
Chelsea missed out on Jeremy Jacquet to Liverpool, but Levi Colwill will be back next season, but many of the current crop need to be moved on.
