Disasi didn’t play any first team football over the first half of the season after failing to secure a move away from Stamford Bridge last summer, but did appear for the under-21s.

The Frenchman did train with the first team on a few occasions, but finally secured a move away during the January window.

El Hadji Malick Diouf can’t believe Disasi wasn’t playing at Chelsea

Disasi joined West Ham on loan for the remainder of the season, with the Hammers currently embroiled in a relegation scrap.

The 27-year-old has played 90 minutes in each of West Ham’s last five Premier League games, and they are now just two points from safety with nine games to play.

Disasi has put in some impressive performances at West Ham, and team-mate Diouf can’t believe he wasn’t playing at Chelsea.

“He played for Chelsea, so he knows the league,” he said as quoted on X.com.

“It was crazy he stayed for such a long time and he didn’t play, but when he came here, he showed that he’s a machine!”
