Chelsea are reportedly looking to make the most of an opportunity to sign a free agent from the Premier League in the summer.

Bournemouth centre back Marcos Senesi will be out of contract with his club come the end of this season, with nothing suggesting that he is going to extend there at the moment. This means that as things stands, Senesi will become a free agent.

Chelsea in for Senesi?

Everton, Crystal Palace, Chelsea and Brighton are in the running for the 28-year-old Premier League defender.

TuttoJuve’s Mirko di Natale now reports on his future, mentioning Juventus as a candidate. Beyond that, interest from Everton, Crystal Palace and Chelsea is revealed.

The three Premier League sides are the ‘most interested’ in the Argentina international.

Personally though, I see him going abroad and leaving the Premier League. Even though I think he would be a decent addition to Chelsea’s back line, adding some real experience and grit; especially if you can land him as a free agent. But I just can not see this one happening I’m afraid and I believe he will go elsewhere.
