Chelsea make mid for Ajax defender Jorrel Hato | OneFootball

Chelsea have made a bid for Ajax defender Jorrel Hato with the player open to moving to Stamford Bridge.

According to journalist Johan Inan of Dutch outlet AD.nl, the Blues have made a bid for the teenager who has already made six appearances for the Netherlands national team.

Should Ajax accept a bid for Hato then the transfer should progress swiftly with the 19-year-old already agreeing to a move.

Hato, who has three years left on his current deal, is a product of the Ajax youth academy and made his debut for the club in February 2023. Since then the defender has played in 110 games for the Dutch giants, scoring four times.
