Chelsea are being named as one of the clubs interested in signing Real Madrid’s versatile player, Arda Guler.

The 20-year-old is apparently on the receiving end of a lot of interest right now, in particular from Premier League clubs.

Real Madrid seemed to have valued him highly and saw him as a future star at the club. However, with him not playing quite as much these days, question marks are starting to appear around his future, and clubs are sensing a possible opportunity.

Chelsea keen on Guler

TEAMtalk are reporting that Arsenal and Chelsea are preparing to rival Liverpool for the signing of Arda Guler this summer, if Real Madrid open the door to his departure, which is a concrete possibility.

The 20-year-old is a full Turkish international player and was quite the regular at Madrid under Xabi Alonso when he was there.

The report goes on to say that Arsenal and Chelsea have made their interest clear to all parties. The Premier League duo are eager to be kept informed of any developments and are ready to act if Madrid signal a willingness to negotiate.

Both Marc Cucurella and Enzo Fernandez have been speaking about their futures at Chelsea in some recent quotes that have surfaced. It appears Cucurella would love to join Barcelona very soon, and Fernandez wants to go to Real Madrid. Sigh.
