Chelsea are now willing to consider loan offers for Nicolas Jackson before next week’s transfer deadline, according to the Daily Mail.
However, the Blues will be more receptive to those offers if they include a guaranteed purchase clause.
The 24-year-old has attracted plenty of attention this summer and is open to leaving Stamford Bridge in search of more first-team opportunities.
Since moving to West London, Jackson has notched 30 goals and 12 assists in 81 appearances across all competitions.
He may have fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge, but his goal returns have kept him on the radar of several clubs across the continent.
Premier League rivals Aston Villa and Newcastle United were interested, while Bayern Munich and Napoli were looking to lure him away from England.
So far, Bayern are further ahead than other potential suitors, with the Bundesliga champions keen to bolster their attacking options this season.
Throughout the summer, Chelsea had insisted that they would only consider permanent offers for the Senegalese striker after signing Liam Delap and Joao Pedro.
However, with time running out, the Blues have decided to be more flexible with their demands. Chelsea are hoping that their new stance will encourage interested clubs to make a formal approach.
Newcastle could still return to the negotiating table. Swedish striker Alexander Isak has been clear about his desire to join Liverpool, and there’s still time for a blockbuster deal to take place.
If that happens, the Magpies could turn their attention to Jackson and would be able to snap him up on loan with a mandatory purchase clause.
Bayern have already agreed personal terms with Jackson and held talks over a potential loan move, while Napoli are believed to be keeping an eye on the situation.
If Jackson leaves in the next few days, Chelsea will have more wiggle room to bring in one of Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho or RB Leipzig attacking midfielder Xavi Simons.
