Roma have intensified their contact with Chelsea in recent hours.
The Giallorossi are reportedly moving to sign Garnacho and Moreira from Strasbourg (they share ownership with the Blues, who also have an option on the player).
Discussions with the English club, however, have also extended to Manu Koné.
The French midfielder, eliminated from the World Cup yesterday due to the 2-0 defeat against Spain, will soon begin to think about his future. Will he stay in the capital or seek a stint in the Premier League?
Xabi Alonso wants to strengthen the midfield, partly because he risks losing Enzo Fernandez, given Real Madrid’s interest.
Roma sporting director Tony D’Amico’s asking price for the French midfielder has exceeded €50 million.
A few weeks ago, the Giallorossi’s sporting director conveyed this idea to the 2001-born player’s agents.
Other than Atletico Madrid, no other club has come knocking on Trigoria’s door. T
he Blues, however, have recently re-established contact with Roma. There is currently a link between the two clubs, linking the capital to London, and the three key figures are Garnacho, Moreira, and Manu Koné. Further developments are awaited.
