Chelsea got brushed aside in the end by PSG last night, and Malo Gusto appears to question the tactics that they used.
The game was close, and the score was 2-2 until around the 75th minute when Chelsea pressed the self destruct button and fully imploded. The button was pressed by goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen, who had an absolute nightmare in the sticks for Chelsea last night and gifted PSG some goals.

The Blues now have a ridiculously tough task of scoring at least 3 goals at home to PSG next week in the return leg if they want to keep the Champions League dream alive. Never say never, but it looks close to impossible.
So, are Liam Rosenior’s tactics to blame? Gusto thinks Chelsea should have sat off more at 2-2 rather than still playing so open.

In quotes picked up on X last night after the game, Gusto said:
“Everyone was running for each other, we showed a lot of impact, some good things in attack.
“But at the end, I think we need to recognise when the best time is to sit back, to wait for them, and to not concede as we know we have a second leg coming up.”
Liam Rosenior refused to take the blame for using Jorgensen saying that “players make mistakes.” It’s true, but we could have told you who was going to make this mistake if you picked him today.
Rosenior has also noted his own failings in the game to some degree in terms of game management. He looked a little like a rabbit in the spotlight at times yesterday evening.
