One Chelsea player is reportedly still keen on joining Bayern Munich and a deal is still possible to get done this month.

Chelsea are still trying to sell a bunch of players and really need to get a move on now in what has been a slow week so far on that front.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea offered chance to sign Premier League centre back and it’s not Marc Guehi!

They still want to sign Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig but it looks like they need to sell other players before they can finally look to get that deal done and completed in what has been one of the most frustrating transfer sagas for Chelsea fans to follow.

And one of those players they need to sell to be able to bring Simons in is Christopher Nkunku, who we keep hearing will be sold this summer yet there has been nothing that has moved on it yet.

Yesterday, Bayern Munich were linked with Nkunku again and touted as a possible destination for the Blues attacker, and that has been backed up again late last night.

Nkunku to Bayern might be on

Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg posted on his X account last night:

‘Understand that a deal for Christopher #Nkunku and FC Bayern until Deadline Day is possible, as revealed on our show yesterday.

‘Much now depends on whether Bayern re-enter the race for Nick Woltemade.

‘Nkunku is keen to join Bayern, but has many suitors. There was already a verbal agreement with Bayern in January. Something Eberl loves: he can play as a No 9, No 10, and on the wing. RB Leipzig open for a loan. Chelsea/Nkunku want a permanent deal.’

Nothing certain

I don’t think Chelsea can afford to wait around for Bayern as it sounds very uncertain at this point that they are even going to make a move to sign Nkunku. Sigh.
