Chelsea striker Shim Mheuka was spotted posing alongside Premier League legend Alan Shearer last night.

The young rising Blues starlet was picking up his trophy for being named the Premier League 2 Player of the Season for the 2025/26 campaign.

It was a well deserved award for a young player who has been working so hard to maintain consistent form all season and has been a real menace to defenders all year.

Shearer was presenting the awards last night, and as you will see further below, Mheuka put his best outfit on to accept it and was see lapping up the occasion.

He’s not really had many first team chances at Chelsea this season, but he has been called upon a few times. Hopefully going forward now we will see him more involved – although a good loan is needed for him this summer now.

I’m sure he’s very happy to be there and taking this award, despite his stone cold look! He looks like he’s in the zone and ready to play another game, sign of a top mentality!

Alonso is being linked more and more with the Chelsea job recently, and one journalist is now saying he’s the “main target” for the Blues. It’s pretty clear Chelsea want him as the priority.

Alonso would have the authority to command a dressing room at Chelsea, a key ingredient for the new manager. This helps make him the standout candidate for the head coach role at Stamford Bridge.
